THE CASE OF THE CHRISTIE HONEYMOON MURDER was a slow-paced, interesting read. Richard Hardwick is not the most sympathetic of victims, but his death behind a locked down on a small cruise ship means the murderer must be on board. There are several suspects among the Hardwick party, and they all have a solid motive. There were plenty of red herrings to keep me guessing, and the killer’s identity and motive ultimately caught me by surprise. It was also nice to see some forward progress with Eliza’s and Theo’s romantic relationship.
